Tell your governor recreational boating is a safe social distancing activity
Our daily lives have been upended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and some governors have restricted – or are considering restricting – recreational boating access, like closing public ramps that the majority of recreational boaters rely on. It doesn’t have to be this way. Tell your governor today to allow recreational boating as an approved activity during the pandemic.
Recreational boating businesses support our local and national economies, and boating is also great for clearing our minds and maintaining active lives, even during this uncertain time. And thankfully, recreational boating abides by all social distancing guidelines as long as you boat responsibly – from the dock to the gas station to the water.
Governors are trying to keep our communities safe and recreational boating can be done following social distancing recommendations. Tell your governor to support access to recreational boating!
