TELL CONGRESS: ADDRESS SUPPLY CHAIN AND PORT DISRUPTION ISSUES

The ongoing pandemic has put strains and disruptions on supply chains across industries, including marine manufacturing. While our industry is reporting improvements, there is still more Congress can do to stabilize and strengthen the nation’s supply chain system. Tell Congress: Vote YES on the Johnson-Garamendi Amendment, which will address ongoing supply chain disruptions and enhance the industry’s economic impact, in the COMPETES Act. 

The Ocean Shipping Reform Act of 2021 (OSRA21), introduced late last year by Representatives Garamendi (D-CA) and Johnson (R-SD) has been added as Amendment #89 to the U.S. House of Representatives America COMPETES Act of 2022. 

Ask Congress to support the small businesses and jobs that make our industry thrive – and include the Garamendi-Johnson amendment in the House COMPETES Act of 2022.
